Just as Robert5205 and others have stated the issue comes up sometimes as a false message.Ĭhanging the DHCP to Static and back again always worked for me.Īlso changing the DNS and back again worked as well.

  • Are you doing anything with Hyper-V and virtual switches?ĭisabled windows firewall.
  • Have you tried disabling the NIC in Device Manager and then re-enabling it? What about a reboot in between disable/enable?.
  • I know you said you have no Wifi, but do you have only one NIC?.
  • What happens if you disable Windows firewall temporarily?.
  • The fact that you ping and get the address back does not appear to be DNS failing. Different apps like Outlook and Ping don't all use the same ports to access internet resources, so it could be some ports are blocked, but I don't remember that presenting with a No Internet icon and status. Is Outlook connecting or not - it sounds like it isn't. I have to agree that's strange and haven't seen it before.
